APPEARANCE || Kaitlyn's hair never used to be the short length it is now. Her hair used to be half-way down her back, and before embarking on her backpacking adventure she had never once trimmed it. As a child, her mothers friends used to admire the length of her hair. Currently, her hair is around the length of her shoulders, and is hardly ever loose. Parts of her layers and fringe covers her eyes, and the rest of it hangs down the side of her face. Kitty's hair is naturally straight, and thanks to the dark colour she is not always noticed during the night. Her hair is a dark brown colour, and before she has often daydreamed about it being black, but doesn't have the heart to change it. Despite what many think, she rarely ever touches her hair. She prefers to let it hang down so it covers her eyes.
Kitty's eyes are an ordinary shade of brown, and she hates them. To her they're like mud, something which she has a certain dislike for, so she disregards the compliments she receives for the colour. Her attitude is simply 'how could anyone like brown coloured eyes?' Kitty often wonders why she had to have brown hair and brown eyes - she sees that as beyond boring. However, the shape of her eyes fits her face rather well, and the colour of her eyes suits the tone of her skin. She has rather pale skin, unusual for someone who has spent so many months on tropical climates. Kitty isn't sure why.
She is far from being tall - in fact, standing at 5' 1 she is the smallest person out of everyone she is acquainted with. Her younger siblings are actually quite a few inches taller than Kitty already, and they're still in High School. Despite the occasional teasing about her height, it is actually quite an advantage when trying to avoid the police or such. Unless she has a job, she generally tends to run out of money quickly and has to steal until she's safely left the country she's in. Kaitlyn is naturally thin, and because of the varied diet she's had over the past few months her weight is quite unnatural for someone her age. However, she hopes that when she's finally settled again she'll gain the pounds back.

FEAR(S) || Kaitlyn fears her family ever finding out about her sexuality. They already find it hard dealing with her erratic lifestyle, let alone what gender she likes. She's also afraid of never being able to get back home when she wishes, and losing her family or close friends.
PERSONALITY || Being raised in an upper class environment had a massive impact on Kaitlyn's outlook on life. From an early age she was taught that money was everything, and this turned her into an arrogant bitch. From the moment she could talk she was unbelievably snooty all the time. This continued into her teenage years, where she received a wake-up call in the form of being made to look like an idiot. Since then her attitude had changed dramatically, and she no longer thought of herself above others. Kaitlyn is now one of the nicest and considerate people you'll ever meet. She always takes into account what other people are thinking, and generally tries to put their needs before her own. As well as being an all-round generous person, Kitty is also a cheerful women. In some ways she is an optimist, but she has her depressing moments where she feels as if nothing is going right with her life. During those moments she keeps a facade of happiness up to convince others.
Generally, when you're a happy person 100% of the time no one expects you to have a temper. However, if pushed to breaking point, you could see just how much of a cow Kaitlyn can be. Her temper is vicious, and her words have often upset people (especially in high school with the more 'preppy' girls). Anger isn't an emotion that Kitty likes, but unfortunately it can get the best of her in difficult situations. As a child her temper used to be horrific. She'd often break or damage possessions in fits of anger, something which makes her embarrassed to this day. The saying 'patience is a virtue' is certainly true in Kitty's case. She may be able to keep the temper on lock down, but her patience is incredibly low. She finds it hard to wait, and often taps her foot when impatient.
In some respect, Kaitlyn can be seen as rather naive for a woman of nineteen. However, most of the time she just ignores the rude jokes or remarks, otherwise she blushes at the 'vulgar language' as she puts it. She isn't a very confident person, and in the past has had about two boyfriends. London for Kitty is an entirely different world all together. Kitty can flirt, yet seldom does as she becomes embarrassed by her actions and if she looks like an immature kid trying to impress a guy. However, if she became just a little more confident and less shy she'd be quite good at charming men. Before her abrupt personality change in her early teens, she was extremely outgoing, but now she is so much more shy and quiet.

HISTORY || The Summers family were well known for their wealth and privileged lifestyles; thriving off their banking business and other various companies. Matthew Summers grew up surrounded by money, and during his lifetime that hasn't changed one little bit - in fact, their wealth has grown even more. The young man first met his future wife - Lizzie - at the young age of twenty during a ball thrown by his mother. The young couple fell quickly in love, and within a year and a half they were married and living in a mansion that had been brought as a wedding present. Lizzie had also come from a well-off background, but not as rich as the Summers, so she loved this life even more than her previous one. The next few years were pleasant ones for the couple, and Matthew took grew smug in seeing his fortune grow. Despite being nice to one another, anyone who wasn't as wealthy as them were considered to be of low standard, and weren't 'suitable' to socalize with.
On the 1st May, Matthew and Lizzie's first daughter was born. Kaitlyn Grace Summers was a beautiful little baby, and from the moment she could understand what her parents were saying she was taught to only associate herself with those of the upper class like themselves. Money made Kaitlyn a spoilt child, and she was constantly receiving gifts and small presents from her father. Wealth made Kitty think she was superior, and unfortunately this was her way of thinking up until her teenage years. Kaitlyn was three years old when her younger brother - Aaron James Summers - was born. He became the center of attention, and Kitty despised this. Her relationship with Aaron was strained until she realized how horrid she had been towards him, and changed her attitude completley. Another three years had passed (Kitty 6, Aaron 3) when Lillian Rose Summers was born. Again, she become the center of attention but Kaitlyn didn't mind so much: she loved to fuss over her younger siblings, she had discovered.
Life was amazing for Kaitlyn, and she viewed herself as being superior to all other people. Her parents were oblivious to the horrid little bitch they'd made their daughter into, and so she continued with her way of thinking, assuming she was right. It wasn't until she was thirteen that she received a shock. People at her school had finally had enough of her snobby attitude, and had ranted at her until she finally understood. All this crap she'd been fed about 'money is everything' was a lie, and she was extremely embarrassed at her previous behaviour. She couldn't understand how she could think like that. From that moment on her outlook changed completely, and she became a much pleasant girl to be around. She mellowed out a lot, and became friends with everyone she could (much to the displeasure of her mother). Lizzie was convinced that Kitty was going through a rebelling age, and would be back to normal soon enough, but that wasn't the case.
Kaitlyn's relationship with her siblings grew, as did her feelings for the opposite sex. She was a shy girl, and despite having a few boyfriends she wasn't confident. Kitty was fifteen when she shared a kiss with a girl, and realized that she liked both genders. This shocked her and she resolved to hide it from her parents. If they ever found out it would bring such shame upon the famiy, it was unmentionable. Kitty finished High School with outstanding grades, and was accepted into an Ivy League College. However, Kitty decided she'd had enough of education and wanted a change. So she decided to tour the world, starting the following week. Her parents were outraged at their darling daughter's decision, but couldn't stop her. She was , after all.
Kaitlyn left home at eighteen for her backpacking adventure of the world. She visited as many places as she could, and celebrated her nineteenth birthday in Paris, France. Her life was erratic at best. After the money she'd received from her parents ran out, she had to find jobs to pay for food and to save up for her next plane ticket. However, sometimes she couldn't find anything and resorted to stealing. She despised the way of live she'd sunk too, but couldn't do anything short of going back to Canada and her smug parents. A few months after her nineteenth, Kaitlyn finally arrived in London. So far she's loving it, despite living in the Youth Hostel, and plans to stay for as long as she can.
